Job Overview: |

Key Responsibilities: |
|
1. Procurement of Agricultural Crops |
|
Identify and procure quality agricultural crops (such as grains, rice pulses). |
|
Negotiate pricing with farmers and suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement. |
|
Verify the quality of produce before procurement to meet company standards. |
|
Coordinate with transporters for timely collection and delivery of crops. |
|
2. Sales & Market Development |
|
Identify potential farmers, traders, and distributors for selling agricultural products. |
|
Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers and buyers to increase sales. |
|
Conduct on-field sales visits and promotional activities to boost product awareness. |
|
Ensure achievement of sales targets and revenue goals in the assigned region. |
|
Provide guidance to farmers on product benefits and usage. |
|
3. Market Research & Competitor Analysis |
|
Monitor local market trends, pricing, and demand for various crops. |
|
Gather insights on competitors’ sales and procurement strategies. |
|
Provide feedback to management for improving procurement and sales strategies. |
|
4. Farmer Relationship & Support |
|
Build and maintain long-term relationships with farmers to ensure continued procurement. |
|
Provide farmers with insights on market pricing, demand trends, and quality expectations. |
|
Educate farmers about modern agricultural techniques to enhance productivity and quality. |
|
5. Reporting & Documentation |
|
Maintain accurate records of sales, procurement, and inventory. |
|
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales and procurement activities. |
|
Ensure compliance with company policies and local agricultural regulations. |
|
|
|
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in field sales or procurement of agricultural crops. |
|
|
|
